As the owner of WordDrive Communications, I specialize in writing for health care institutions. My clients also include business, academia, and the not for profit sector. I help my clients transform ideas and rough drafts into powerful communication tools, from newsletter and website content to annual reports and sales proposals. I help them with fundraising communications and the language of internet marketing. My copywriting includes e-mail newsletters, a critical tool in building client and donor relationships.

Professional Copywriting Experience

WordDrive is a business built on more than thirty years of experience in copywriting and healthcare. In 1991 I helped launch the sales proposal unit at Blue Cross Blue Shield of Massachusetts, a leading national provider of managed health care coverage.

At Blue Cross Blue Shield I gained significant knowledge of the health care world, and outstanding experience with production and deadline management. For the next twelve years I produced proposals and marketing materials winning millions of dollars in sales to major national accounts such as Staples, Boston Scientific, and Raytheon. My past employers also include Harvard University and the Massachusetts Institute of Technology.

I am a graduate of Smith College and have an MBA from the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill. I am a member of Boston Women Communicators and The American Medical Writers Association.
